In 1983, Gateway Mortgage Corporation was founded as a mortgage broker – originating residential mortgages in Southeastern Wisconsin. Growth throughout the 1980s allowed Gateway to expand to become a full service mortgage banker – underwriting, funding, and servicing the loans it originated.
Today, Gateway remains a family owned and operated mortgage banking company. As an approved seller/servicer to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as well as an approved Ginnie Mae Issuer we are able to service all loans we originate. That means you make your payments to us, locally. We are a Direct Endorsement Lender for HUD, VA, WDVA, and WHEDA. Gateway is licensed the State of Wisconsin and the State of Illinois.
